"Glac Leis in The Recording studio"

 

 

A new band has been formed in County Clare In Ireland that are creating their own type of music. They take Irish traditional music and play it wonderfully, while also working on trad fusion. Their trad fusion pieces are coming along great, fusing styles such as Folk, Rock, and Classical music into Irish music. It is a new sound, and it is pretty cool!!!

 

The instruments in the band range from Banjo and Mandolin to Uilleann Pipes, Flute,Drums/Rock Drums, Whistle, Concertina's, Guitar, Bass guitar, all sorts of mad tribal drums, and everything in between!

 

This music is still highly experimental, but the band have taken tunes like "Sackow's" and revamped it with their own strange style, and it sounds good!

 

Two band members have just finished recording a duet album of Irish Traditional music titled "Swingin' From The Lightbulbs", which eventually brought about the founding of this band. 

 

At the moment, they are working on new revamps of the classical melody "New World Symphony" and their own very experimental stuff, which will be very different!
